Hello there and welcome to Love, Ailyex! I shall keep this introduction short and sweet but suffice it to say that I am Alex and this is my brand new corner of the internet. I have blogged (rather poorly) before but in the spirit of new beginnings I have opted for a clean slate. So for a little bit about me… I am currently facing a major life change in the form of expecting my first child in just over a month *eek*, so this is where I will be documenting my new chapter. I am twenty-seven, living in North West London, married to my music geek sweetheart, a literature and history nerd (as opposed to geek), intermittent crafter, copywriter, sketcher and book-fancier. ‘Ailyex’ is a childhood nickname and my favoured transparent alias. I have just gone on maternity leave and am adjusting to a slower pace of life. I have an Etsy shop and I’d love it if you deign to accompany me on this expedition.
